Howard Burnett

Howard Burnett is placed at the Mental Health Association of Fauquier County. A rising sophomore and top scholar at Morehouse College, Howard is majoring in political science with a minor in criminal justice. At MC, Howard serves as Sophomore Class Council Event Coordinator, member of the Black Youth Empowerment Network and Collegiate 100, and proudly represents the college as an Office of Institutional Advancement Ambassador. Through his volunteer work with Hands On Atlanta, he remains committed to giving back and supporting initiatives that positively impact local communities. Outside of his academic and volunteer work, Howard enjoys spending time with family, friends, traveling, and listening to music.

Natalie Campbell

Natalie Campbell is placed at Aging Together in Warrenton. She is a rising sophomore and English major at the University of Mary Washington. Natalie is a member of the UMW Chess and French clubs. After graduation, Natalie would like to work in technical writing. When she is not in class or at a club activity, she enjoys reading gothic novels and playing The New York Times Connections.

Steven Greeley

Steven Greeley has the pleasure of working with the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation. He is a rising junior at James Madison University, majoring in accounting and finance. Steven plans to pursue a master’s degree in accounting after earning a bachelor’s in both accounting and finance. In his free time, he enjoys riding bikes, playing video games with friends and family, and going to car meets.

Mandy Holmes

Mandy Holmes is placed at Fauquier Community Child Care and is a rising third-year student at the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce. Mandy intends to concentrate in marketing and management, with a track in analytics and AI, while pursuing a Spanish minor. At UVA, she interns for Virginia Athletic Communications,and is involved with Future Business Leaders of America, The Women’s Network, and the Advertising and Marketing Association. In her free time, Mandy enjoys watching sports, running, traveling, and baking.

Emilia Hoover

Emilia Hoover is a rising sophomore at the College of William & Mary, placed at the Carver Food Enterprise Center. She majors in economics with a minor in history. Emilia is very involved with the W&M Pep Band, Club Soccer Gold, and the W&M Library Corgis. In her free time, Emilia likes to read, hike, watch soccer, and pet dogs.

Amelia Jakum

Amelia Jakum is placed with the Friends of the Rappahannock. She is a rising sophomore at Virginia Tech, majoring in geography while minoring in geographic information systems, meteorology, and environmental policy and planning. She is an active member of Omega Phi Alpha, where she spends her time volunteering at community events. Outside of academics, Amelia enjoys playing sports with friends, painting, and creating tabletop games.

Aidan Kroetz

Aidan Kroetz is placed with CHISPARK Culpeper. He is a rising sophomore at the College of William & Mary majoring in elementary education with plans to become a kindergarten teacher. Aidan is involved with WCWM, the college's radio organization. In his free time, he likes photography, going on walks, and spending time with his two cats.

AJ Lamper

AJ Lamper is a rising junior at James Madison University studying Kinesiology with a minor in Pre-Physical Therapy. Placed with the Free Clinic of Culpeper, AJ is excited to see the other side of healthcare and have the opportunity to give back over the summer. At JMU, AJ is a member of the Phi Chi Pre-Medical Society, active in Younglife—including as a high school Younglife leader—and involved in varying intramural sports. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing sports, camping, watching movies, going to the gym, and listening to music.

Brenn Pinsky

Brenn Pinsky is placed with the Afro-American Historical Association. A rising senior at William & Mary, she will graduate with a bachelor's in Japanese studies. Brenn looks forward to working as a museum curator or archivist after graduating. Aside from studying for exams, Brenn likes to craft during her free time: including crochet, scrapbooking/junk journaling, flower pressing, and sewing.

Anthony Garcia Rangel

Anthony Garcia Rangel is placed at Just Neighbors. A rising second-year student at the University of Virginia, Anthony is studying in the School of Nursing, while minoring through the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. At UVA, he is involved in the Student Council Diversity and Financial Accessibility Committee, Latinx Nursing Student Union, The Cavalier Daily, and Cultural Latinx Advancement for Resources & Opportunities. In his free time, Anthony enjoys playing tennis, watching TV shows, listening to music, and exploring new experiences.

Mary Rodman

Mary Rodman is a rising third-year student at Oberlin College, placed at the Culpeper Literacy Council. She is double-majoring in psychology and law & society, with plans to attend law school. At Oberlin, Mary is on the Women's lacrosse and field hockey teams, a member of the Black Student Athletes Group, and a facilitator of One Love Oberlin Chapter. In her free time, Mary enjoys crocheting, hiking, watching movies, and journaling.

Payton Roff

Payton Roff is placed with The Plains Community League. She is a rising senior at the University of South Carolina, majoring in public health with a minor in psychology. At UofSC, Payton is actively involved in multiple organizations including Best Buddies, Occupational Therapy Club, and Carolina's Compassionate Connections. She is on track to pursue a career in occupational therapy after graduation. In her free time, Payton enjoys working out, going on walks, shopping, and spending time with her dog and friends.

Jackson Romero

Jackson Romero is placed at both the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce and UVA Health. He is a rising sophomore at Virginia Tech who plans to graduate from Pamplin College of Business with a degree in entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology management. On campus, Jackson is actively involved in several student organizations, including the community service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, student radio station WUVT, and the Virginia Tech Honor Council. In his free time, he enjoys all things music-related, and spending time with friends and family.

Josh Teller

Josh Teller is placed at the Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission and New Pathways Tech. Josh is a rising junior at George Mason University majoring in government and international politics with a concentration in international relations. On campus, he has been involved with the GMU School of Music and Theatre through content creation and performance. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, playing video games, and collecting vinyl records.

Abby Virag

Abby Virag is placed with Generations Central at the Culpeper Baptist Church. She is a rising junior at Virginia Tech studying psychology. She plans to attend graduate school and become a grief counselor. Next semester, Abby will train to lead The Connection Project, a one-credit class designed to help students make meaningful connections and gain different perspectives. During her free time, you can find Abby crocheting, watching sitcoms, cooking, and playing cozy video games like Animal Crossing.

Avery Vollrath

Avery Vollrath is placed with Hero's Bridge. She is a rising senior at James Madison University, majoring in health services administration and minoring in general business. On campus, Avery is involved in Relay For Life, Red Cross Club, and the JMU Health Administration Student Association. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through fitness, especially going to the gym and hiking.

Carter Wadding

Carter Wadding is placed with Leadership Fauquier. He is a rising sophomore at the University of Virginia with intent to graduate from the College of Arts and Sciences with a B.A. in Media Studies. Sustaining his passion for marketing, Carter participated in numerous internships during his time in London, where he shadowed the head of marketing at The Shard and worked in public affairs at the U.S. Embassy. Beyond his professional aspirations, Carter also enjoys traveling, writing, and long-distance running.

Mary Witherow

Mary Witherow is placed at the Fauquier Education Foundation and is a rising junior at Christendom College with plans to graduate with a degree in English and literature. When she's not in the library or helping her peers with papers, Mary participates in her school’s drama club, whether behind the scenes or on stage. After graduating, she hopes to inspire and help children's creativity blossom by teaching art classes. In her free time, Mary enjoys painting, crocheting, baking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.

Nolan Working

Nolan Working is placed at Hope Heals in Warrenton. He is a rising senior at James Madison University studying industrial design. Nolan is set to graduate in 2027 and hopes to pursue outdoor gear design with a focus on apparel and footwear. At James Madison, Nolan is actively involved in several organizations, including Club Volleyball, where he plans to serve as treasurer during his senior year. In his free time, Nolan enjoys spending time outdoors, participating in activities like skiing, hiking, and fly-fishing.

Emma Zewatsky

Emma Zewatsky is a rising senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is placed with Fauquier FISH. Emma is majoring in business administration with a concentration in management and leadership on a pre-law track. Emma actively participates in the Cameron Executive Network, Phi Mu Gamma Kappa, Pi Sigma Epsilon, and local philanthropic events through the Wilmington community. Outside of academics and extracurricular activities, Emma enjoys traveling, running, hiking, and being outdoors as much as possible.
