Wes Moore Addresses Fauquier County Public High Schools

New York Times best-selling author discussed importance of decision making

March 14, 2016 – The PATH Foundation brought best-selling author Wes Moore to address the high school students at Fauquier County Public Schools. He spoke to enthusiastic crowds at Fauquier, Kettle Run and Liberty high schools throughout the day, in addition to a lunch with county administrators discussing education.

Wes shared his touching life story, highlighted in the New York Times best-selling book The Other Wes Moore. His talk gave real glimpses into the consequences that came – good and bad – from decisions made throughout his adolescence. The effect of the loss of his father at a young age was a pivotal point of his remarks.

The veteran, Rhodes Scholar and founder of BridgeEdU in Baltimore, has been a featured guest on the Today Show, The Colbert Report, MSNBC, NPR, and countless others. His most recent book is entitled The Work.
