Fall 2025 Flexible Funding
The PATH Foundation is excited to announce the recipients of its latest round of Flexible Funding grants. Fifty-four organizations received over $1.2M in funding to support their missions and strengthen the health and vitality of our communities.
All grantees have mission statements or ongoing programs that intersect with the PATH Foundation’s four priority areas: Access to Health, Childhood Wellness, Mental Health, and Senior Services. In addition, all grantees demonstrated their alignment with the mission and values of the PATH Foundation.
In 2025, the Carver Food Enterprise Center, housed by the George Washington Carver Agriculture Research Center, received a Flexible Funding grant to support their work to sustain and expand its food security and farm-to-school initiatives.
“The Carver Food Enterprise Center runs on collaboration; farmers, volunteers, and community partners coming together with public–private partnerships like Virginia Cooperative Extension, Culpeper County, and the PATH Foundation,” says Carver Food Enterprise Center Program Director Gretchen Ledmor. “It’s this network of support that makes it possible for us to reduce food waste, strengthen small food businesses, and expand access to local food. Behind the scenes, it takes careful coordination, dedicated staff, and strong partnerships to keep everything moving smoothly.”
She goes on to say that, “One of the best ways the community can help is by volunteering at our Feeding 500 events or by donating surplus farm produce (unwanted by the food banks). Every hour and every pound of food makes a real difference.”
