Grants will provide support to a number of community organizations
February 2, 2015—The Fauquier Health Foundation will begin accepting applications for its Spring Grant Program February 2, 2015. Funds available for the grants total $350,000.
Fauquier Health Foundation’s Spring Grant Program was created to provide community organizations with funding for planning and general operations. Applicants can request funding for up to $50,000. To apply, organizations must submit a Letter of Inquiry no later than February 28, 2015. If accepted, applicants will receive an invitation to submit a full application. Award recipients will be notified in June 2015. Successful grantees must use funding within one year of award.
Eligible grant applicants include 501(c)3 non-profits, religious institutions (for non-religious purposes) or local government entities in Fauquier, Rappahannock and northern Culpeper counties. Applicants must also reflect the mission and values of Fauquier Health Foundation.
“The Spring Grant Program was developed to lend support to local organizations that serve our community,” explained Christy Connolly, president and CEO of Fauquier Health Foundation. “We are hoping that the grants will provide the funding necessary to assist in the development of strategic planning and board cultivation, to help each organization to better pursue its core mission.”
