Fauquier Foundation Congratulates Give Local Piedmont Effort

These gifts made our area’s Give Local campaign – with total donations at $730,000 – the second largest in Virginia! This is an amazing representation of the collective power of individuals and organizations working together to better our communities. On behalf of the Fauquier Health Foundation Board of Directors and Staff, we want to say – way to go Piedmont! For our communities to collectively raise $630,000 to support area non-profits in the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation’s Give Local campaign, in addition to the support they give throughout the year, is a testament to this wonderful area. The Fauquier Health Foundation was pleased to be a part of this through a $100,000 bonus gift that will benefit each of the non-profits receiving donations during this great local campaign.

The Fauquier Health Foundation, while still relatively new in its role of grant making, is excited about adding to the great things already happening in Fauquier, Rappahannock and Northern Culpeper Counties. Together we are making a difference – for today and the future.
