Participants will walk away with an understanding of:
- Crafting a compelling case for support that is built upon stakeholder perspective
- What’s needed to create or improve upon a written development plan that incorporates data and evaluation of past successes and challenges into the planning process
- How to leverage the written plan to identify potential supporters and connect them to your mission
- Resources to identify and support practical steps and internal infrastructure needed to execute the written fundraising plan
What to expect:
In this two-hour session, Elizabeth A. Neher, a Certified Fundraising Executive with CNE, will share content, examples, resources and facilitate opportunities for participants to connect with organizations of similar size for peer-to-peer learning and perspective.
How to prepare:
Bring whatever fundraising plan you have in place (and you DO have a plan!) – whether it’s on the back of a napkin, scribbled in your notebook, a completed draft, or a collection of post-it notes around your desk. We will use this information to help guide your experience and identify your actionable next step.
